Solar PhotoVoltaic panels from SunWind

SunWind's solar panels are made with polycrystalline solar cells mounted to a firm substrate with clear epoxy encapsulation. They are marked for polarity and come with rugged alligator clip test leads (15 cm, 6") attached, for active experimentation. PV panels can be joined in series to produce higher voltages, or in parallel for higher amperages.

SunWind solar panels come in two sizes: 1 volt, and 1.5 volt. Both produce well over 500 mAmps in full sunlight (or close to a bright lamp).


1 volt x 500 mAmps = 0.5 watts.

The physical dimensions of the 1 volt panel are 60 x 70 mm (~2.5 x 2.75 inches)
