Solar PhotoVoltaic panels from SunWind

SunWind's solar panels are made with polycrystalline solar cells mounted to a firm substrate with clear epoxy.

They come in two sizes: 1 volt, and 1.5 volt. Both produce about 500 mAmps in full sunlight (or close to a bright lamp).

1 volt x 500 mAmps = 0.5 watts. 1.5 volts x 500 mAmps = 0.75 watts.

They are marked for polarity and come with alligator clip test leads attached. These portable panels can be quickly attached and detached for active experimentation. PV panels can be joined together in series or parallel to produce higher voltages or amperages.

The physical dimensions of the 1 volt panels are 60 x 70 cm (~2.5 x 2.75 inches); of the 1.5 volt panels, 70 x 100 cm (2.75 x 4 inches).
